The magnifying pendant was made as a gift for an elderly relative of the client. The covers of the magnifying glass open into wing-like handles to allow the magnifying glass to be used. The front cover shows an art – deco inspired daffodil design, saw – pierced by hand from silver, which has been shaped to cover the magnifying glass.
